Towards Sustainability

In every garment we produce, and along our supply chain we ask ourselves how we can balance the critical pieces of sustainability: our planet, our people, and our economy.

Read below for more details on how we do that with our design, our manufacturing, and our packaging choices.

At MALOU we make designs that are seasonless, versatile, and will last to maximize the investment in your pieces. To help you create your capsule wardrobe our product pages all have recommendations on how to style each of our garments.

To top it off, we make sure our items are functional through pregnancy and into motherhood through thoughtful design features - hidden zippers, buttons, and side slits.

MALOU garments are proudly made in Calgary at Rideau Road with fabrics that are produced and dyed according to OEKO-TEX eco-standard 100. We live close to our manufacturer and are able to visit frequently.

We limit the amount of waste we produce, and integrate more sustainable options where we can. Our orders are shipping in poly-mailers that are made with 100% recycled material, and wrapped in a MALOU mama tote bag that is 100% cotton instead of tissue paper.
